Some originally accepted official Chinese narratives, but later discovered alternative historical records and testimonies while studying abroad. These reflections show how memory can survive through education, dialogue, and independent research.

It is a continuing reminder of the dangers of authoritarianism and the importance of defending freedom, human dignity, and historical truth. Organized by the New School for Democracy and other partners, the tour aimed to expose the reality of authoritarian expansion and cross-border repression to European civil societies.
